Hvita Husid Guesthouse in Hofn is an Airbnb type place. There are two rooms- a much larger, nicer appointed double bed room and a small twin one. They share the one bathroom with a good shower. It’s cash only here but I hadn’t known that besides ISK, they also accept euros and USD. If you need it there is a 24 hour ATM a 7 minute walk away. Coffee, tea, crackers, cookies, jams, peanut butter, bananas and apples are provided. If the weather is nice, there is an outdoor area to relax in. The WiFi was weak, requiring buffering. There are knitted woolen goods for sale.
