Aleksandra And the team and Iceland Unlimited put together an amazing itinerary for my teenage kids, husband myself. We spent 5 days doing great activities and staying and eating in great venues. Thank you to them for their great service, flexibility and advice. I would strongly recommend them if you are planning a busy schedule to see this wonderful country. We were blessed with good weather and did so much in 5 days. It was magnificent.

We had mixed experiences with Iceland Unlimited. Mona provided us with excellent advice and support. She quickly understood our needs and put together an unforgettable Iceland trip. In Iceland, however, we noticed that some lodges were of rather poor quality, and we were surprised that such rooms were booked, given our requirements and the high price we had paid for this trip. When we asked for a detailed invoice, we were told that no details are shared with customers, which we found rather strange, suspicious, and lacking in transparency. We then simulated the same bookings ourselves and found that Iceland Unlimited charged us a margin of at least 25–30%. This is a huge margin and does not correspond to our understanding of market practice. This explains why detailed prices and margins were not disclosed to us either before the contract was signed or after our inquiry. Again, good advice and service were worth a reasonable price, but we would never have paid such a margin if we had known beforehand. Therefore, we recommend that you request a detailed price quote and check it online before you decide to book.

As two physically challenged women, this company was a godsend. There was a ramp and room for our two rolling walkers plus the guide helped us on and off the van. I highly recommend Siggy, our guide, for his charm and humor plus his breadth of knowledge of Iceland from the science of volcanoes to the local use of geothermal and so much more even local Christmas traditions. He made us both feel secure and safe at all times. We did both the Aurora Borealis tour and the Golden Circle with him. We stopped and saw the Icelandic horses, drank water from a local stream and had enough bathroom breaks during the Golden Circle tour. Yes, it was a bit expensive but any tour with just a guide and two people would be... much less two people who use rolling walkers. He knew all the more accessible paths to the sights and guided us to them. It was well worth it. Highly recommend!
