Choose ANY OPTION other than EIN Presswire. Their Editorial Department is totally unprofessional and has no idea what they are doing. It's truly pathetic that a company will subjectively decide whether or not to approve a press release REGARDLESS of the fact that it adheres to all guidelines and policies. Do not waste your money on this company -- choose Cision, PR Leap, etc. -- anywhere else that will respect you as a customer.

I had a very inconsistent and disappointing experience with EIN Presswire. My first call with a representative named MJ was excellent. She walked me through the setup for a new company and said that account details, including email issues, could be updated later without any problems. Based on that representation, I signed up for the $499 and paid. At no point did she mention that personal email addresses could not be used, that a website with a public contact page was required, or that social media profiles had to be linked for “risk management.” When I returned the next day to complete the account, I was sent an email stating that none of the information was acceptable and press releases would not run unless I provided a business-domain email, an active website, and public social media links. None of these requirements were disclosed during the initial call or anywhere on the site, which made the process impossible for a newly formed company without a website. Because customer support and accounting lines repeatedly went to voicemail, I pressed “1” for sales again. That department was the only one that answered the day before. Instead of reaching MJ, I spoke with another representative who gave completely different guidance and a very different service level. She insisted that all updates, corrections, and cancellations had to go through a “form,” despite the Terms of Service making no mention of mandatory forms for these actions. When I raised the inconsistency and explained that we had paid based on the information given the day before, the tone did not improve, and no effort was made to clarify or resolve the conflicting instructions. The call was abruptly ended when she hung up. Within approximately five minutes, I received an email stating that my account had been refunded and permanently closed, and that attempts to sign up in the future would result in forfeited payment. It appeared that a salesperson had the ability to access accounts, initiate cancellati

We just wanted to share that our first press release with EIN went very well. We timed it just prior to our social media spend launch and we saw a small boost in traffic right away then a good surge once we got our advertising going. The process was fairly straight-forward and we were happy with the service. Our next release will be over the next two-weeks and I look forward to those results. Thanks EIN
