I had a horrible experience with the receptionist at gynecology. I asked if she knew English or French, French is a Swiss national language after all, and her attitude was that I should speak German, wouldn't even let those around her translate to help me, and found out later she actually also does speak English. It's a hospital they are suppose to help people in crisis, not be cruel if you don't speak German.

I had surgery in the summer of 2025 and I had a wonderful experience at this hospital. If needed something the nurses came immediately and cared for my needs. The food was excellent and more restaurant quality. They came with fresh water at all times wihtout having to ask. My doctor who performed the surgegy was excellent and checked on my healing process. All pre and post services from the hospital were easy and they even sent me everything in English. I would highly recommend this hospital.
