Izabella Lukács

I have been following Izabella's CooltCluj newsletter for some time, and every week she writes in a concise but convincing way about a well put together list of events (some of them are not easy to find). I have not (yet) collaborated with her, but I am sure she puts the same consistent effort into all her work, her results are wonderful, and that she is a very nice person to work with.

Isabella’s newsletters about the cultural life of Cluj have been a gift to this city! She is singlehandedly filling a gap that even institutions with full teams couldn’t address with the same dedication and care. The way she continuously keeps them alive, adding new things, staying attentive to detail, and showing genuine passion for Cluj cultural scene in nothing else but spectacular. I first knew her through her work, and only later met her in person. To my surprise, she has just as much energy and brightness as her writing suggests. Always present at events, always curious to learn and share, always generous with her attention.☀️ She once wrote about the artistic community I coordinate, and I loved how thoughtfully she handled it: keeping every important detail while improving the flow and cutting out the noise. That balance of respect and editorial clarity is rare. She also helped make one of our projects visible to a much wider audience, and she was always open to new collaborations. Isabella is attentive, kind, hard-working, and deeply professional... shortly, someone you’d be lucky to work with! I love Iza’s commitment to doing work that matters. She is one of those people who inspire me to push further in my own work. I see hunger in her passion and a determined mind to create art.
