Virtual Print Design and Branding NZ

We recently had our Spirit of Awakoko picture book printed by Virtual Print in Frankton, Hamilton, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. After sampling three different printing companies, Virtual Print stood out immediately for their excellent colour accuracy, paper quality, and competitive pricing. Their quote was the best among all three companies we tried, yet the quality surpassed everyone else. We requested a paperback sample with a 300gsm laminated gloss finish for the cover, and Virtual Print delivered beautifully. For the book interior pages, our initial request was for 100gsm paper, but Virtual Print recommended using 113gsm satin paper — an excellent suggestion that made a noticeable difference in the final quality. The pages have a gorgeous light sheen and feel wonderful to the touch. As the illustrator, I was absolutely delighted to see how vibrant and true-to-life the illustrations looked — a level of colour fidelity and print clarity that the other companies could not achieve. A special mention goes to Nina Charlton, the Sales Executive Assistant, who was outstanding from start to finish. She listened carefully to what we needed, understood our expectations, and was patient throughout the process. She even checked in after receiving our PDF to highlight potential gutter issues once the bleeds were trimmed and the spine glued — something we really appreciated. They also have a wonderful team and a warm, welcoming environment. I was greeted by friendly staff at the reception, and one of their helpful team members kindly carried the heavy box of printed books to my car — a simple gesture that meant a lot and showed the genuine care they have for their customers. Most impressively, even though we approached Virtual Print last and were running very close to our deadline, they still managed to complete the entire print run four days before our required date of 14 November. I chose Virtual Print because although there were cheaper options, the reviews of the cheaper options showed that they sometimes take more time and effort with fixing errors and follow up.
