Expert Swaak | Leiden

Ordered a button for my washing machine almost six weeks ago. The guy mentioned it would be delivered the next week and I would receive a call. After two weeks, no calls so I thought I would give a call. Apparently it hasn't been sent yet, how convenient, but a possible mistake, no problem as there is no haste. But now 6 weeks of me calling them where my button is made me cancel my purchase. The service of keeping me posted on my delivery was the worst in it's kind. Sorry for the negative review but this is my experience.

Good service, good shop. Buy from a person not a website.

Utter crooks. I presently have an injured hand making it difficult to do maintenance myself. My dishwasher stopped working and was displaying an E19 error code and I booked a service engineer from this company. I suspected the problem was the drainage valve/actuator and told the service engineer so. He spent barely 15 minutes looking at my dishwasher, for which I was charged €100 - that was merely just to look at it, I'm not kidding. He told me it was in fact a problem with the control electronics and that it would be very expensive and that I would receive a quote for the required parts and labour when it had been calculated. I didn't believe a word of what he said and was irritated enough that, although very painful to do with my injured hand, I checked the machine myself. The fault was actually with the drainage valve/actuator as I thought, a part that costs ~€20. I bought a replacement and fitted it myself that afternoon. I was called later by Expert/Swaak with a quote for €225, and that was just for parts alone. I pointed out I'd been lied to and that at best it was incompetence, and at worst fraud and that I wanted the €100 call out fee reimbursed, and an apology. They refused and told me to lodge a complaint wherever I liked as they've been in business for 80 years. So, my advice, if you appear like you can easily be defrauded (elderly, injured, sick, etc...) I'd very strongly suggest you keep far away from this company. Quite simply, in my experience, they're crooks.
