Needlessly awful, rude, unprofessional & lazy: I have had a number of disturbing & unpleasant experiences with this Police force. Reporting crime to them is an unacceptable nightmare - & (very disturbingly) sometimes they can't even be bothered to accommodate people doing so! Multiple staff were extremely rude, lazy & unprofessional, needlessly so - but evidently part of a wider-culture problem here. Despite being threatened on the street, & contacting Haarlem Police multiple times about the same individual responsible, they could not even be bothered to investigate. Then, they don't answer to complaints properly or respectfully at all - & staff refuse to provide identification when prompted for raising a complaint about their conduct (a clear breach of their own code of conduct). This 'police force' has their priorities all wrong & are a shambles & a disgrace.

The police officers from here (a curly-haired man with too much hair gel and a black-haired in a pony-tail little woman), did not identify themselves on the scene and the Haarlem office refused to identify them as well (when later contacted for the details). Despite being public officers their actions are anonymous 😉 The behaviour of the police officers was disgraceful - unreasonably aggressive, mean, biased, stereotypical, and most of all unhelpful. Threatening to use violence (on a bleeding woman needing medical help - how low can you get?) The context: I walked to a nearest hospital (Haarlem Zuid) due to heavy bleeding and feeling faint as a result of complications after a surgery. The hospital called police on me to remove me from A&E (where I was told to go by the main reception of the hospital). The police here was absolutely disgusting - I have lost any respect for the police in Haarlem. Reading now the reviews, I see I am not alone in thinking poorly of them.. They were also stupid enough to make judgments over my health - „you look ok, you can walk on you own” (I asked them to help me..). Well, I ended up having a last-minute corrective surgery at AMC (neither the original hospital doing the first procedure, nor Haarlem Zuid obviously). Let my suffering come on to those people and stay with them.

The thick-set, balding, aggressive-looking guy sat at the front desk was extremely & unacceptably rude & then refused to provide his name when I asked for to raise complaint over. The same was true of his blonde haired, male colleague - who stood there with his arms folded & proudly declared: "yeah, I am very rude", when this was pointed out to him......A good police force is one that employs less criminals than it catches: based on my encounters, this one is disgraceful all-round.
