Asked help from a MediaMarkt employee to buy a kitchen hood in December as I was not sure of the model. I suggested to him several times to check the dimensions and he promised me the dimensions were correct. The day of installation, the hood did not fit, they brought it back, made me lose one day. Two months later, after four phone calls, I still didn’t get the reimbursement for the installation fee (120€!!). Each time on the phone the MediaMarkt customer service promised me it will be handled and I will be reimbursed, it’s been four times, two months, and still nothing!! This is incredibly frustrating and disappointing from such a big company!!!

NOT RECOMMENDED! MISLEADING INFORMATION PROVIDED! I visited the MediaMarkt store in Eindhoven Center, traveling all the way from Den Haag. I purchased a MacBook Air M4, and the employee informed me that there was no charger included in the box — only a cable. Based on this information, he sold me a charger for EUR 65. Additionally, I paid EUR 160 for an insurance service. I trusted his advice. However, when I arrived home and opened the box, I discovered that a charger was in fact included. It is very disappointing that I was misled by their representative. As a result, I no longer trust the recommendation made regarding the insurance either. I contacted customer service by phone and email to explain that their team member had provided incorrect information, which resulted in me being charged an extra EUR 225. I asked them to arrange a courier to collect the charger, but this was not offered. Instead, I was told to return to the store in person. Due to the false information provided by their employee, MediaMarkt expects customers to resolve the issue themselves. This is both frustrating and disappointing. No one has taken ownership or responsibility for the mistake.

I have bought Miele washing machine and dryer. In order to stack them, I have also bought Miele stacking kit. All from Mediamarkt. However the delivery people refused to stack my washing machine and dryer. The reason they told me, if they connect it with Miele stacking kit, the warranty of the machine will be gone. I tried to explain the situation to them. Stacking kit is completely compatible with my order however they kept refusing.(By the way, I called Miele regarding this issue, they also confirmed that the stacking kit is completely compatible with the washing machine and dryer that I bought) In the end, I put the stacking kit on top of the washing machine and attached it to the washing machine myself while they were watching. After that they put the dryer on top. It was the most ridiculous experience I have ever had. I don't understand why I paid premium fee for that?
