Baker Sign Works Inc

I wish I had seen the obvious signs before using this company. At the start it took forever to get a reply back, then when we got it, it took forever to get the proofs. Back and forth with the designer because he was not paying attention to what we were requesting. After this, there were surcharges for a visit (we are literally up the street where they are located), designs, a bought photo, etc. We went with it because we thought they were good and wanted to get the project done so long ago and had been waiting that some extra cost was not a dealbreaker. The first time they came to install, they did a good job installing the stickers in the window. One glass was scratched... ok we let it go as we were satisfied with the general view of it. I trusted they would do a good job on their second visit to install the garage wraps and I didn’t want to wait longer so I gave the ok for installation day while I was on vacation. When I came back, I noticed the photos on the garage looked orange and one of them was pixelated and had bubbles. There was also a new sticker on another door, and they were billing me for this sticker, for which we were never quoted or proofed (and on top of it was also improperly installed at a different height that the one on the other door). I made the HUGE terrible mistake of letting Linda know about this and the garage wrap being orange and what I got was 2 very aggressive and long emails saying that it was us who had provided the photos and a bunch of misconstrued facts, lies and excuses… that even involved my mother??! Who doesn’t even live here. I have dealt with unprofessional people but this experience blew out any other I’ve ever had. If you reach out and they don’t answer take it as a SIGN to run as fast as you can. Update: it hasn’t even been more than 7 months and the sign is already going away.

I am fairly disappointed in my experience with Baker signs. They were polite during my interactions, but the work was ultimately not completed to my satisfaction (ie not using wall anchors to afix the signs into drywall) and the project took way longer to complete than initially outlined. Also, the initial template for the signs were completely off so I had to make a ton of suggestions and corrections to their designs and so their team came back out to confirm my suggestions -- but then charged me for a 2nd site visit which I felt was unfair. I would not recommend working with Baker signs.

As a graphic designer I have worked with Baker Signworks for approximately 10 years sending them artwork for exterior and interior signage, menu boards, truck lettering, yard signs, posters and more. Not only is their work great, but they take the time to offer different options depending on budget. I highly recommend!
