Our experience with Red Rag Marketing has unfortunately been the worst we have encountered with any advertising company. We invested £4,000 in a campaign that delivered no measurable return. We placed our trust in the sales pitch, but in hindsight, the majority of the positive reviews appear to reflect the free sales pitch process rather than results from paying clients. While the team can “talk the talk,” in our experience they were unable to deliver. As a company with a 100% five-star Google rating built on genuine hard work, customer care, and the highest standards of workmanship, we expected a marketing agency to achieve results that aligned with our reputation. Instead, the campaign was poorly targeted and destined to fail. The leads we received were of extremely low quality—many from hundreds of miles outside our operating area. Worse still, the lead reporting software repeatedly failed, which directly caused us to lose potential clients to competitors. When raised, the response from Jamie was that Red Rag Marketing did not own the reporting software and therefore held no responsibility for its failures. The final justification given was that Red Rag Marketing does not guarantee any success, which was buried in the contract’s small print. In our view, if a marketing company feels it necessary to disclaim responsibility for results, they should not be offering such services. We have since managed our own marketing campaigns in-house with far greater success, highlighting just how ineffective this agency proved to be.
