Employment and Economic Development Office (TE Office)

I applied for employees (no less than five) hoping to get at least one candidate through this. There was plenty of time, but nothing happened. I assumed that this service no longer exists and that is why I probably wouldn't hear anything from them. Then they called me out of the blue and apologized for not contacting me earlier, promising that they would assign me a few people who would definitely be a good fit for the job. After that, I heard nothing. I think it was a prank call? I don't think such an office even exists? Maybe this is just a dream. I suspect I'm not the only one who has experienced the same thing.

In this comment I am not talking about TE offices in general but only about the Lahti Te office and its staff. Unprofessional, rude, impolite, inappropriate language (swearing at customers), and not even giving written notice of decisions! Decisions are made in this office in clear contradiction with other Te offices and authorities. When you tell them by phone that you intend to appeal a decision, the aforementioned treatment starts immediately… I could write down the full names of the people here who are acting here in violation of the Public Authorities Act. Perhaps a request for an investigation to the police or the Ombudsman is the only way to get this address to operate in the manner required by law and civil servant responsibility.

I'd give it zero star... Employees have no respect for their clients. They don't listen to anything you say and in the end turn everything against you. I've never felt more humiliated.
