We (a large international e-Commerce site) wished to increase sales and revenue by improving our conversion rate. Because of the nuances of the market we operated in, It was important we partnered with an agency that understood our business and the relationship we have with our customers. Lauren, Grace, Jackson, and the entire team from Media Lounge understood this. Their tactics and optimisations were carefully tailored on improving the connection between our business and customers. Every opportunity recommended by Media Lounge was aligned to our business goals and demonstrated their expertise, knowledge, and abilities. I was impressed with their in-depth research, solutions, attention to detail, and most importantly; the resulting uplift from their efforts. I would urge anyone considering working with Media Lounge to look elsewhere. Signing with these grifters could be very costly, it almost financially ruined us. Big lesson here, and this part is out fault, always read the small print and don’t sign their standard development contract it does not specify a development timeframe or give you any protection as a customer. Media Lounge will use this as an excuse to completely rip you off. We trusted Media Lounge with our entire design / tech budget that we had been carefully budgeting for over the last few years. They were paid over £50k for a magento 2 website (over 90% of the entire cost) for a website that was still only partially finished over 2 years later. Once 90% of the budget was extracted from us within a year, this is our fault for trusting their terms and conditions. Then they basically stopped delivering anything meaningful for next 14 months. During this timer we did have regular project management calls all the right noises claiming they are working on our project, it will be delivered, but they had a developer shortage etc. Ther truth was they had no intention of completing our website and had no real incentive once they had received 90% of the money. We eventually had to pay to have the website finished from a much more reliable agency. This meant the project actually cost 50% more than we budgeted for as Media Lounge refused any refund and handed over a shockingly poor level of code. Its obvious from the reviews here that they will treat bigger companies with respect, but any smaller company who wants results please look anywhere else. Media Lounge will choose the route of blaming the customer throughout, as I am sure they will in any reply here.
