High Desert America`s Job Center of California

The employees do not give you copies of what you've signed nor give any REAL help. They copied my social security card and California ID. I applied on the 1st week of the month. Was told that someone would call me to set up an appointment about a grant program for training. No one has called me and 2 weeks have past. There are not that busy because they do not receive a whole lot of foot traffic. They do provide computers and phones. I think that these type of places should be eliminated and the funds should be given to the public libraries to provide the same services. Its a total waste of the tax payers money.

Not a very helpful place. I've been with them for 2 years now and still no job! I've gone through the classes, how to write a resume, they helped me update my resume. I call them all the time and the 2 workers I have 1 is a Veterans worker the other is civilian jobs worker. They do send leads! But I'm literally going broke and almost homeless!!!

I didn't know this place existed or who/what you do. EDD sent me there. I needed help after losing my Job. Miss Angela, thank you for helping people patiently making resumes after yeeeaarrrs. Sam, you gave me information that I could have used years ago that nobody had explained to me, What a blessing!!!. Jose Alcantar, Disabled- Veterans Outreach Program, the information to guide Veterans in the right direction from this office is amazing and I am finally officially in-the- process, before I was never in-the- door. Everything is starting to look great! in the right direction that only this office can provide along with Diana,Veterans-Affairs Hesperia, you all work as a great team of resources that should be posted everywhere. Thank you for all you do, phone calls are coming in and looking good fast. Thank you.
