From the outset, the company demonstrated great willingness and interest in the project. However, after the contract was signed, the execution took a very different turn from what had been agreed upon. Before formalization, I shared detailed layout references, including several examples of websites in the same sector. Despite this, the delivered model did not reflect what had been discussed, appearing as a pre-formatted template. Dissatisfied with the result, I had to develop the website layout myself and submit it for implementation. Even so, I was charged R$7,000.00 for the creation of a layout that, in practice, was not delivered. This amount was not refunded. During development, recurring problems arose. The website presented constant instability and depended on more than 30 plugins to function, which directly compromised performance, made maintenance complex, and required continuous monitoring. Any minimally qualified professional knows that this number of plugins is incompatible with a reliable and functional website—even so, this was the solution adopted. Furthermore, a monthly fee was imposed for the updating and maintenance of these same plugins, installed by the team itself. It became clear to me that the meetings prior to the contract were not taken seriously. From the beginning, I was extremely clear about the needs and objectives of the project. And, surprisingly, they delivered the website without integrating the payment methods (PayPal, credit card) and with the shipping calculation configured incorrectly. After insistence, these flaws were corrected, but the initial error demonstrates a lack of attention to basic functionality elements. Despite numerous attempts at adjustments, the final website did not meet my needs. Therefore, I was forced to hire a new company to completely redo the work.
