In 2020, I hired this company to run my Google ads. I paid a percentage of the ads and had no problems. In 2021, as of today, January 27, 2021, I called the company requesting the reinstatement of my ads and tried to speak with the person who assisted me. Unfortunately, the consultant was no longer part of the company's team; he had been dismissed. My call was transferred to another consultant who said that the company had changed some of its work rules, that it only provided services with a contract and no longer by percentage, but with a minimum value of R$ 300.00 per month and without penalty if the contract was canceled whenever I wanted. I contacted the consultant, who confirmed in an audio message that he could make the contract and that I agreed to pay the amount he quoted (R$ 300.00) since there was no penalty for cancellation. He then contacted me via WhatsApp audio message, saying something completely different, changing his statement and saying that there would be a penalty if the contract was canceled. How can I trust a company that says one thing and then suddenly changes its mind? Wouldn't it have been better for Alper Digital Marketing to have instructed its employees to provide accurate information to clients? Due to dissatisfaction with the management of our Google Ads account after two account blocks – one due to documentation issues, possibly related to missed deadlines by the manager with Google, and another due to a virus/hacker attack (according to the agency), which left us without paid traffic for days – we opted to terminate the contract. Then came the unpleasant surprise: Alper did not grant us access to our Google Ads account. We were never informed that they would delete the client's Google Ads account upon contract termination, a practice that leaves the client without all the intelligence/algorithm of the ad account. This procedure is not stipulated in the contract. No other agency we consulted engages in this practice of deleting client accounts upon termination; the account belongs to the client who invested thousands of reais in Google. They can delete the campaigns; the account is immoral and a breach of contract. They stated that they would DELETE the account after termination, meaning that our Google account had NO value for the agency. This was practically a deliberate attempt to cause harm to the former client, a penalty for terminating the contract, an attempt to force the client to stay with them, an action omitted from the contract and completely incorrect. Therefore, if you are thinking of hiring Google Ads services, I suggest checking with the agency to see if they maintain this practice of DELETING the ad account in case of termination. Be aware that the account belongs to them and not to you, even though you are the one who pays Google directly every month with your hard-earned money to keep the account active and running the campaigns.
