CAPAC Tournai

Too bad we can't give less than one star... It's been months since I sent all the necessary documents and my file is still being processed. When I go to have my file processed, the emails are never processed or I'm told that I have to wait because they are late. This is not acceptable when on our side, everything is done on time.

I'm returning to Belgium after years abroad, in several countries. I had to obtain work permits, residence permits, and emergency permits during the pandemic, not only for myself as a Belgian citizen, but also for my partner, whose passport is much more complicated... so I know bureaucracy very, very well. Back in Belgium, I must admit I'm impressed by the welcome I received in all the government offices I contacted to re-register, and there were many. The people were friendly, efficient, and smiling, and it was easy to communicate with them. I don't know if Belgians realize how lucky they are to have such an efficient administration, which is why I decided to highlight it in Google Maps reviews. The CAPAC office in Tournai is no exception. I took a ticket, the waiting time was reasonable, I was greeted politely, the process was quick, the person listened to me, everything was perfect, nothing to add.

A warm welcome this morning despite a rather complex case. I would particularly like to thank Ms. Comble for her professionalism; she was able to answer my questions and help me find solutions. Thank you.
