I worked with Gordon for almost a year on SEO services for my business. Over that period I paid him around R88,800 for monthly SEO, plus an extra R5,000 for a new website after he advised me that my old site and domain needed to be changed. Throughout the whole process, I was encouraged to change domains more than once and to rebuild the website at additional cost. Despite all of this, I did not receive the results that were promised in terms of ranking improvements or visibility. I repeatedly asked for clear reports, evidence of work done, backlinks, and published content, but I struggled to get consistent updates or transparency. When I raised concerns, Gordon often shifted the responsibility back to me rather than addressing the work that was supposed to be delivered. I was also told that further SEO progress was not happening because of domain changes that originally came from his own recommendations. In the end, after many months, I still did not see the SEO outcomes that were described to me at the beginning of the engagement. I’m now pursuing this matter formally. This review reflects my personal experience, and I want other business owners especially small businesses investing their hard-earned money to be aware and do their due diligence before committing.
