Semrush Boston

They are absolutely horrendous when it comes to customer service. I cancelled during their free trial period with plenty of time to spare and they still charged me hundreds of dollars. They are refusing to return the money and are using shady practices to give me the run around. It is highly illegal. Do not give them business. I will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Semrush. They make the cancellation process deliberately confusing and continue charging customers even after cancellation requests. When I reached out, they refused to issue a refund, hiding behind fine print and rigid policies instead of doing what’s right. It’s shocking how a company of this size can treat paying customers so dishonestly. Do not share your billing information with this company unless you want to deal with unfair charges and zero accountability. There are plenty of honest and transparent alternatives out there — avoid Semrush at all costs.

I made a Semrush subscription by mistake and canceled it immediately without using any paid features. Despite multiple written requests, Semrush has refused to issue a refund or explain why their internal policy seems to override European consumer protection laws, which clearly grant the right to withdraw from unused online purchases. I have contacted their support several times, but they have stopped responding. This lack of transparency and accountability is deeply disappointing. I’m now considering escalating this through European consumer protection channels so other users don’t face the same issue.
