ESP Custom Shop

Great guitar shop with ESP, grass roots and killer guitars and bass, as well as accessories. Very attentive and nice assistants as well, special mention to the woman who helped me try Dir En Grey guitars, super nice and she knows her stuff! She made me feel safe trying different guitars and showed me really cool models. Would have stayed longer if I didn’t have another appointment!

Excellent guitar shop in Osaka, next to shopping areas and restaurants. If you love ESP guitars you will find many user Custom models. Staff was also nice and helpful.

Firstly, massive praise to Terachi-san - this guy is a legend! I placed an order for a custom ESP Horizon III back in October 2024 and was told it would take 2 years...it arrived in 13 months! Terachi sat with me patiently while we communicated via my broken Japanese and Google Translate. He was also great at communicating with me through email when finalising the customisation and also with securing a proper hard case for the guitar. Since I live in Hong Kong, this made things a bit more complicated, but he even organised for the store to hold the guitar for me for a few weeks so that I could organise to transport it back with me on a future trip. He truly made went above and beyond and I would highly recommend the store! In terms of products available, the store has guitars from nearly all of the series associated with ESP: MIJ/Original, EII & Grass Roots as well as a few other things and they have a bunch of accessories such as cases, straps, picks, leads etc. and the staff will definitely be happy and willing to help you out! PS - Honestly, I think ESP need to promote the "Made in Japan"/"ESP Originals" more, because they are truly awesome guitars but I think they are not very well known or find-able compared to the American-built ESPs which can be found in a lot of other places. Promote these and organise a courier service for foreign customers like myself and I think this could be a good revenue stream!
