Hurry Oy

The service was absolutely first class. Really friendly service.

Our company commissioned the design of a logo, signs, business cards and 11 packages from the Joensuu team of Hurry Oy. Communication with the designers was quick and the work was done according to schedule. The logo also turned out to be successful in the end and we were satisfied with it. However, the work was not to be commended, among other things. In terms of signs and packaging, the designer designed an unfeasible look – the pattern used in the signs and packaging could not be printed as planned (the same problem occurred with three different printing companies) and their colors had been specified incorrectly. In the case of some of the packaging, the problem was discovered even before printing. It was a designer’s error and even though our contract had agreed on a fixed amount, Hurry would have invoiced the hours spent on correcting the error without a separate note about overtime. These hours were also disproportionate compared to the rest of the design work. In short: our experience with Hurry Oy is that the designers lack professional skills and as a company we did not get a positive customer service image of Hurry Oy. It felt like the company was not interested in our satisfaction but rather wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible. The designers had a communication breakdown between them and not all of our wishes were taken into account. When we mentioned this, the designer said that he would only change the work for an additional charge. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Hurry Oy for visual design.
